The kids did a great job on today's spelling pretest!  Eight kids passed today's test and will take the challenge test on Wednesday!  In reading today, we looked at this week's story called The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash.  In math, we learned how to add on to a number to solve a problem.  This is just another strategy that we can use to solve an equation.  We will working on this strategy for a few days.  There will be a sub in our classroom tomorrow, but I will be in the building as the second grade teachers have an all-day meeting!
